For the last 6 months John Burns’ son, Hamish Burns, has been in charge with the set up of the new production factory in Burry Port, South West Wales.  This is the first time the company has taken on the production of pet food in-house, placing the production plant near their farms to ensure that some of the raw materials that they use for their new range travel as short a distance as possible.  This is in line with the Burns ethical values of sustainability and reducing their environmental impact.

Family Business

Why cook for your dog when the Burns family can do it for you?  Our purpose built factory is now producing our new Penlan Range of moist foods. Hamish Burns is in charge of the cooking whilst veterinary surgeon John Burns has been known to spend his free time thinning our locally grown swede and visiting the free range chickens.
